More SAB Swaps

Here are a few more of the swaps I received for Sale-a-Bration. This one was done by Taylor Vanbruggen using So Many Scallops and the new Ginger Blossom designer paper. It's hard to see, but she has a little dot of glitter in the middle to make those flowers pop. I love the simplicity of this card.

This one was created by Yvette Ashe. She stamped with the SAB set Merci on watercolor paper. Yvette does the BEST watercoloring and now that I swap with her, I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.

Finally I wanted to show off this beauty done by Cindy Lawrence. I love how she used our new Felt Fusion Flowers with the clear rhinestone brad. The SAB set she used is Friendship Blooms.

Well enough procrastination...I need to go prepare for a workshop. Have a wonderful day!

SAB Swaps!

Here are a few of my favorite swaps from Sale-a-Bration. Lisa and Barb used So Many Scallops which is by far the most ordered of them all. Love Lisa's layout and her rhinestone brad and Barb's z-card is very fun. Ann used Friendship Blooms with a build a brad to set it off. Remember these sets are FREE with a $50 purchase!

My SAB Swap

It's Sale-a-Bration time! For every $50 you purchase, you can earn a free set. The free set I used here is Birthday Whimsy. I also used All in a Row for the faux stitched look and Bali Breeze designer paper. The cake is just stamped with versamark and clear embossed. I made the scallop with the scallop circle punch! I made 30 of these for a swap and I'll be sharing some of the beautiful swaps I received back in my next posts.

Fabulous!

I finally broke down and bought this set Fabulous Flowers when I received a Christmas card using it from my sideline - Kristine Chubb. I've seen many beautiful samples with it, but her card really showed off the versatility of this flower. I stamped it three times with ruby red craft ink and cut each one out smaller and smaller to fluff it up. The other sets I used were Baroque Motifs, True Friend for the saying, Floral and Sanded for the backgrounds.

I got the idea for the layout design from my swapping girlfriend, Lisa Somerville. Here is her gorgeous card using the new level 3 hostess set and our new jumbo brads.

That was fun, so I'll do another post. The thing that's cool about blogs, is that you can SUBSCRIBE to them. That way you'll get an e-mail notification every time I post something new. I think that link is at the bottom.

This is a card we did at our Stamp-a-Stack of 10 cards on February 9th. If you haven't attended one of our events, you don't know what you're missing! We had 50 wild women stamping like mad. It was so much fun.

I got this idea from a swap I received from Pam Findlay. Isn't it adorable? The only thing I changed was the colors and the background. That's the benefit of all of these crazy swaps I do. I don't have to create the wheel every time! This is done with the Sale-a-Bration set So Many Scallops and all of our punches.

It's time to blog!

Hello!

I can't believe I'm finally starting a blog. I remember the first time I read someone else's blog, I thought that person must not have enough to keep her busy in life. A year later, I'm addicted to reading all of my stamping buddies' blogs, so I thought I would check it out. I'm not promising I'll keep this up, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Why do I call myself a Stamp Tramp? That's a name my husband came up with back before I was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. At that time I purchased from FOUR differerent demonstrators. I couldn't get enough stamping time, so I cheated on all of them! It came to a head when two of them showed up at my door with an order at the same time! Then I knew it was time to come clean and just sign up. I haven't regretted that decision in the four years I've been a demonstrator.

Okay - here's my first creation from the new catalog.

I fell in love with this Berry Bliss paper and all of the coordinating sets (One of a Kind & Boho Backgrounds) in the catalog. I created the scallop edge with a slit punch and all of the embossing is done with Chocolate chip craft ink and clear embossing powder. Then to finish it off I used a build-a-brad with one of our new rub-ons. I love how it turned out. Hope you like it!
