4th of July Scrapbook page
I scrapbooked! One of my goals for the summer is to get loads of pages done - with journaling! I'm bad about never getting around to the journaling part.

To Have and To Hold
I just finished making reservations for two nights at Lake Tahoe for our anniversary. Whoohoo! The boys are going to my parents' house for the whole week, so we're going to take a few days for ourselves and celebrate our 14 years of marriage. Can't believe it has been that long!
After doing that I thought I would share a couple wedding samples I've received. This top one was done by Karen Barber. This card is simply stunning. She used To Have and To Hold and the background Pretty Petals. Not only is the entire dress glittered, but it's all stamped on shimmery white cardstock. Beautiful!
This one was done by Lisa Martz using Together Forever. I love how she stamped the image on Groovy Guava, cut out the little flowers and layered them. It's a very striking layout as well.

Wonderful You
Here are a few swaps I've received using the set Wonderful You from the main catalog. I earned four free sets for my sale-a-brations sales, and after seeing these beauties, I think this will be one of my choices!
Isn't this gorgeous? Judy Discipio has done some wonderful work with this set. I love her bleached moon using Big Pieces (I think).
This one was done by Barbara Dondero. Along with the brads in the centers, she has glittered the little pistils (or stamens?).
And finally here's another one done by Judy. I love how she used paper tole and layered that center flower.

For My Dad

Hello! I can't believe I haven't updated in a month. Sorry about that. The end of the school year was intense and then I started out the summer with a six credit course to try to move over on the teaching pay scale. Unfortunately time for stamping has been far too limited. Here is the card I made for my dad last weekend. I love this truck from "Thoughts of Father" because I have a very similar one as a flower pot in my front yard. I'll have to find a picture to post of it. Here's the recipe:
Stamps: Thoughts of Father, Weathered
Colors: River Rock, Really Rust, Chocolate chip.
Ink: So Saffron Craft, above reinkers for watercoloring
Have a great day!
